Blue Knob State Park
Blue Knob State Park offers 5614 acres of year-round wilderness recreation that includes family campgrounds, picnic areas with seven pavilions, hunting, cold water stream fishing and snowmobiling trails. The park also offers educational and interpretive programs to schools and organized groups during Spring and Fall seasons. Within three miles at the Western Park boundary the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission in partnership with Highland Sewer & Water Authority has opened a 345 acre Beaverdale lake under special regulations. (Electric motors only) Boating access is provided along Route 869.
