If you can, hook up with a local and have them show you the best trails. The best place to park for accessing the Resort trails is at the Clubhouse Bar & Grill in the Alpine Village. The Clubhouse is also a great place to have a cold beverage and a bite to eat after ride.

The Blue Knob area has some of the best and most challenging cross country mountain biking in the region. Make sure your legs and lungs are in good shape if you decide to make the climb to the top of the second highest peak in PA. The panoramic views from the top are well worth the effort. If you're not in peak climbing shape yet, you can still drive to the top. It is recommended that you have some level of off-road bicycling experience before venturing out on any of these trails. Many of the trails will challenge even the most skilled mountain bikers.
