Golf Course Superintendent - Paul V. Gordon

Gordon handles all facets of preparing and maintaining the challenging mountain course at the resort. He has a rich background of course maintenance and renovation which includes work at some of the finest golf courses in the country.

"I learned attention to detail at Augusta National Golf Club and implemented what I learned when I was at the Annandale Golf Club (Jackson, Ms.), home of the John Deere Classic" said Gordon. He is in his second year of continuing renovations and improvements to the Blue Knob course.

Gordon is a 1993 graduate of Penn State’s Turfgrass Management Program. His experience also includes work at Waterford Landing Golf Course (Savannah, GA.), Camellia Golf Club (Greenville, AL.), Bowden Country Club (Macon, GA.) and West Pines Golf Club (Douglasville, GA.).
